Passionate for all things design, Nikole Nelson creates unique, conceptual environments focused on brand identity and the art of collaboration. As a designer, artist and maker her background includes an agglomeration of fine arts, set design, architecture, interior design, decorative arts and art education.
Her professional accomplishments encompass set design for clients such as New Balance, Sea World, Timbaland, GQ, Better Homes and Gardens, Whole Living, Men's Journal, Women's Health, Men's Health, Cigar Aficionado, Food Arts, Bloomberg Magazine, Redbook, Slam and Zink Magazine; interior design for Coach, New Balance, Urban Outfitters and Hewlett Packard; design consultation and project management for UNESCO driven projects in South Africa, and Art and Design Educator in Hawaii and Japan.
Nikole graduated with a BFA in Interior Design from Savannah College of Art and Design. In addition to her work as a designer, in 2008 Nikole developed a community outreach partnership between SCAD NYC Alumni and the Children’s Aid Society in Harlem, which still thrives today. 2011 marked the launch of her Art and Design program at the Covenant House, a homeless shelter for NYC youth.
Nikole is from Lahaina, Maui and lives in New York City.
